Create a Parent Page

Lets firstly create a new Page that will serve as the Parent Page:

  • Click Pages on the right-hand side of the Window

  • Then click on the + (New page) Icon in the botton-right.

  • Finally, enter the name of the Page in the New page window and click Done

A new Page will be created and the Page name added to the Navigation Menu

Create the first Sub-page

Now create the first of two Sub-pages:

  • Click on the New Page, Parent Test Page, on the right-hand side of the Window

  • You will see three vertical dots on the right, click them and a Menu will appear, then click Add subpage

  • Finally, enter the name of the Sub-page in the New subpage window and click Done

A new Sub-page will be created and the Subpage name will be added to the Navigation Menu under Parent Test Page

Create a second Sub-page

Now repeat the steps from the previous Section to create Subpage Test 2

The Navigation Menu will have two options below Parent Test Page:

  • Subpage Test 1

  • Subpage Test 2

Another Method to create a Sub-page

The second Method can be used to Create Sub-pages OR Move them from one Parent to another Parent. We will create a standard-page and move it into the Parent Test Page to convert it into a Sub-page:

  • Create a New (standard) Page but Name it Subpage Test 3

  • Then click on Subpage Test 3 in the Pages Menu (on the right) and drag it up and drop it in the Parent Test Page

  • Subpage Test 3 will now be converted from a Page into a Sub-page of Parent Test Page

Click on Subpage Test 3

Drag and Drop it into Parent Test Page

Subpage Test 3 is now a Sub-page

Create a Page Hidden from Navigation Menu

What we are calling a Hidden Page in Part 3, is just a Page that is Hidden from or Not included in the Navigation Menu. This is achieved with the Hide from navigation option but as you will see it can still be linked from other Pages:

  • Create a New (standard) Page similar to the previous Section

  • Then click on the three vertical dots on the right and choose the Hide from navigation option

  • The Hidden Page will be removed from the Navigation Menu

  • Create a Link to the Hidden Page from any Page within the Site

Select the Hide from Navigation option

The Hidden Page has been removed

Create a Link to the Hidden Page

And that's it. Next will tackle SEO or Search Engine Optimisation.
